Q :-Where will student stay?

A :-The LIS Boarding facility is divided into two separate halves each with a separate entrance. One is for boys and one for girls. The rooms are for two and six students each with its own bathroom. Student will be assigned a bed in one of the rooms. The space will have a bed, desk and chair and a cupboard for student's things. A group of rooms constitutes a Dorm and will be under the care of a Dorm Parent.

Q :-Who will care for student?

A :-Each Dorm, about 20 students is under the care of a Dorm Parent. Like your own parents at home your Dorm Parent will be there to guide you through your life at LIS. Q :-What will happen when you arrive?

A :-Boarders will arrive on the Saturday afternoon before school starts. You will first meet the Admissions Manager with your parents and she will check your papers and then direct you to your Dorm Parent. You and your Parents will then meet the Dorm Parent, hand over and discuss your health form so that the Dorm Parent is aware of any medical condition you may have. You will then be shown your room. At this point you and your parents may go for tea, pick up uniforms and books and any other materials you may need. You then say goodbye to your Parents and return to your dorm to unpack and get ready for the first roll call and dorm meeting at 6.30pm. Where do I go for Help? Your Dorm Parent should be your first option for anything to do with your health, welfare or personal problems, if you need help with your studies then consult your Class Teacher. The school Counsellor is always available if you feel your problem needs that kind of guidance. Otherwise any one will direct you if you can?t find your class for example.
