The Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) Programme (after school program)

CAS offers students an opportunity to choose activities to develop their interests and find new ones. The activities are divided into three categories, Creative, Active and Service. Itis an obligatory part of the school curriculum for ALL students of ALL ages (not just those involved in the Diploma Programme) and includes activities in Sports, Ecology, Community Service, Music, Public Speaking, Theatre, Journalism and Yearbook publication and many others depending on the interests of the staff and students. Students choose one from each category that they will then attend for the quarter. Students keep a diary of their activity. Community Service programmes and projects are undertaken within the school campus and outside in neighbourhood. It is hoped that these projects will engender a feeling of belonging and co-operation and that all will derive a sense of satisfaction and joy from participating.
