Message from the School Head/
Senior School Principal

I am so pleased to be a member of the Lancers International School community. I fully understand there are many facets that need attention in providing a quality education. A pillar of Lancers is our shared belief that each person has unique talents and that sometimes recognizing and bringing out those talents requires open mindedness, creativity, a variety of teaching methodologies, and a lot of hard work. Lancers International School strives for excellence in providing a world class curriculum, state of the art facilities, and an environment conducive to learning.
I am confident our school will be held in high regard by those who attend and by those who bear witness to its accomplishments. Great schools continually evaluate their progress and make adjustments to better meet the needs of their students. A goal of Lancers is to have every student develop self confidence tempered with humility, a strong work ethic, and a solid educational background. Students will also acquire both a desire and the ability to look at multiple points of view, the confidence to take action, and a caring attitude toward all people and the environment. Lancers encourages each student to develop a personal “code of conduct” which is aligned with healthy values that integrate mind, body, and soul in order to help them make sound decisions and choices. We want our students to identify both short and long term goals and acquire the fortitude that is necessary to attain them. There is one attribute I would like to draw attention to now that all great schools share. This attribute is difficult to measure and can be attained in many ways. I am referring to a school’s “sense of community.” With this comes cooperation and support for both individuals and the group.
Every one of our actions, whether we are a parent, a student, or a staff member contributes to the strength of our school community. Each of us will fall at times, but with a supportive community, we will be better equipped to get back up, “wipe off the dust,” and get back on track.
