Early departures and late arrivals

Good beginnings and good endings are important at LIS. There are many reasons why it is important to be in school from the first day and to leave at the end.The arriving and departing rituals enable students to make a smooth transit into school and a good closure at the end of the semester. In addition important announcements, orientations and key relationships are made from the first day. Except in dire emergencies early departures and late arrivals are not allowed by the school.

Weekend timings are subject to change depending on the planned activities

Weekly boarders will leave on Saturday morning after the morning activity (12 noon) and return on Sunday evening in time for prep (5:00pm). The Morning Routine Students are expected to get up promptly on the wake up call. Before going to role call they must have shower, dress, make their bed and tidy their room. After breakfast they clean their teeth, make sure they are correctly dressed and neat, pick up their things for school and leave the hostel. The Dorm Parent will inspect their appearance before allowing them to leave the Dorm. Make sure they have everything with them because they will not be allowed back into the dorm until 04:30pm.
